Mom King's surgery

Mom King had her surgery yesterday and everything went well.  Janice stayed overnight at the hospital with her.  She is doing very well today.  Hopefully she will feel well enough to come home in a few days.  Noodles, Cookie, Rosie, and I are missing her here.  The surgery was originally scheduled on the 17th but got delayed, so we were able to enjoy some time with her here before the surgery.

Visiting Alabama

We brought Mom King with us over to Vic and Phil's house for the weekend.  We had a great supper at Top of the River.

Back in Georgia

I completed my month commitment at Saylorville Lake in Desmoines on Wednesday.  I really enjoyed the work there and would like to go back some day.  Something different to do each day and really great people to work with.  We left the motorhome in Desmoines and drove the van down here to Georgia to help out after Mom King's surgery.  On the way down we found out that the surgery has been postponed until the 26th, so we have some time to enjoy with her before the surgery.  I will probably head over the the soup kitchen in the morning to see if they can use some help again.  Flowers are blooming and everything looks great here.  Now that I have daily access to internet again, I will try to post more pictures this week.
