Easter

It has been awhile since I have posted on here.  I am back to work here at the lake, something different every day getting ready for the busy season.  Clearing the trails, bush hogging and cutting and hauling tree branches.  I am working 7-3 on Monday through Wednesday.  Its good to be working here again.  Janice has the bird feeders out and we have deer visiting every evening.

Brendan, Zuli, and Angela came down the weekend before Easter for a visit and took Duke and Bozee back to North Dakota with them, it sounds like they are doing well up there.  It was hard for Janice to say good by to Bozee.  They were kind of attached.

Rebecca's family came down for Easter weekend for the baptism.  Of course we had to dye eggs!

We had the baptism during the Easter Mass and one of Sarah's friends provided a nice lunch for everyone afterwards.

Andrea is recovering well from the stroke she had a few days after we arrived in Desmoines. Good to see her back on her feet.

It was a very nice weekend that we way too fast as usual.

Sunday With Family

Today after Mass, we went to Hu Hot with Andrea and Sarah's families.  We had a great meal there and some of us may have eaten too much.  Later, we all went to Sarah's house for some visiting time.

Work here starts tomorrow morning.  Spring has not arrived here yet so we will get to watch everything green up and bloom here like we did in Louisiana.  Two springs in one year will be great!

Back at Saylorville Lake

We arrived yesterday about 4:00.  It took us a little while to get set up and then Andrea's family stopped by.  We enjoyed reuniting with them and meeting one of our new granddaughters.  It is good to be back here, but we came too soon, as this was our view out of the door this morning.

Yes, that looks like snow.  Hopefully the last one this spring.

Marshall, MO

We are staying overnight at Marshall Crossing Campground south of Marshall, MO,  We plan on making it to Saylorville Lake tomorrow.  Janice did the laundry at the campground here this afternoon.

Springfield, MO

We traveled from Little Rock to Springfield today. We are at the Timbercrest RV Park.   Here are some pictures that I took at the rv park last night. The rv park was right on the Arkansas River across from downtown Little Rock.

This evening I went to the Bass Pro Shop here in Springfield.  I think it is their largest store.  It contains the NRA's sporting guns museum and the archery hall of fame.  What a collection of guns, over 900.  A big enough store to almost get lost in.
