Bismarck, ND
Tuesday morning we had to leave our DesMoines families and head to Bismarck, ND. We decided to take three days for the drive. We normally stay at RV parks when we are traveling, but this time we stopped at a Cabela's store near Minneapolis and they had an RV and truck parking lot behind their store. We asked in the store and they said there would be no problem staying overnight there. Cleaning the coach batteries and replacing the cables in DesMoines was probably a good idea since we ran on battery all night with no problem. The next day we planned to stop in Fargo, ND, but when we got there we decided to continue on another hundred miles or so to Jamestown, ND. We stopped at a Walmart there and they welcomed us to stay overnight there. That left us with only about on hundred miles to travel on Thursday to Bismarck. We had a late start on Thursday because we helped a lady in the parking lot replace a bad tire. Now we are in Bismarck in one of our favorite campsites in the KOA and are able to spend some time with our Bismarck families.
