We drove down here to Waveland, MS on Sunday. We are in our usual rvpark across the road from the beach on the Gulf. The weather here has been cloudy and windy. Monday we drove into Waveland to eat at Tony's Restaurant. Mom had her favorite there, knock knock oysters. After we finished eating, there was a Mardi Gras parade on it's way down the street, so we walked over and watched it. Many, many floats and a lot of them throwing beads. Here are just a few of the floats.
As you can see, we managed to collect a lot of beads.
It was a lot of fun at an event that we just happened upon! Yesterday we went into town to get some parts to fix our windshield wipers and stopped at another store for awhile. Got the wipers fixed when we got home. Tomorrow we head to Gulf Shores, AL
