Little Rock, AR

Well we finally got ourselves to leave our comfy rv park in Branson and head on south. We drove down to Little Rock, AR today and enjoyed the scenery on the way. Sorry about the picture quality, I was shooting on the go through the windshield. Stopped at a little cafe in Marshall, AR on the way down for lunch.

We are parked for the next few days in the Downtown Riverside RV Park which is actually downtown on the side of the river here in Little Rock. We had stayed here a couple of years ago and were happy with the park. Hope to get the bikes out for a ride while we are here. Beautiful weather here again today, ran the air conditioner for awhile.

  1. So, what do you think about Arkansas — There’s a lot of beauty there but I just can’t get excited about spending much time there.

However…. As I was reading through your first ¶ and I came across the abbreviation I said, “Whoa, how’d they get to ALASKA that fast” — you meant to type AR I’m sure. :-)

  2. Yeah, had to fix that, doesn't pay to try to write when you are tired. There is certainly some beautiful country here and the people are friendly so far, but that has been true everywhere that we have been. One of the main things that I have been surprised to learn since we have been on the road is that I can get very comfortable anywhere in this great country of ours that I have seen so far. It is a little hard to get used to the noise when you are in the middle of the city like this, but you soon tune it out.
