Back in Sioux City

We left Saylorville and drove to Sioux City on Tuesday. We always hate to leave the volunteer work there and also our volunteer friends, but it also means leaving two of our daughters and their families who live in Des Moines. If we didn't leave there, though we wouldn't get to see our other kids and grandkids, so we must move on. We have quite a long list of things to accomplish while we are in Sioux City: work on the acreage, work on the Jeep, work on the Motorhome, doctor appointments, financial advisor appointment, catch up with old friends, and most important, spend time with family here. We will be here for about a month but I'm sure it will go by quickly.

The first project was to clean the rooftop air conditioners. The cottonwood trees produced an unusually large amount of cottony seeds this year and the air conditioners collect them. Here are the before and after pictures.

Needless to say, they are working much better now!
Tomorrow we have our annual physicals. Our doctor always likes to find new things wrong with us, but he seems to take good care of us, so we will see what he finds this year.
