Audubon Zoo

On Thursday, we got up early and headed to the zoo.  It is located a few miles east of the French Quarter and has plenty of parking.  It is a nice zoo, but not as large as the Omaha one.

 

 Every zoo needs a bear.

 

 

They had some pretty flowers here and there.

 

 

 Most of the logs in the ponds were covered with turtles.

 

 We really loved this live oak covered in moss.

 

Another long day that wore us out, so we are taking today off.
